Best Wooden Buildings Competition 2009
The first prize at the Estonian Best Wooden Buildings Competition 2009 (Estonian Timber Structure Architectural Competition) was awarded to the modular building system in timber volume elements designed by architect Sten Ader executed in this case as a summerhouse at Jõelähtme.
The building designed as a second home is prefabricated and delivered to the site in three units. It is minimalistic and simple in form with spacious terraces and large windows. In cooperation with architects the well elaborated modular system will enable to create various solutions in order to satisfy different demands in functionality, size and finishing. |  | The Best Wooden Facade awards:
