At the planing mill there are two planing lines – one faster and the other slower, but more flexible. Both lines are equipped for manufacturing profiled panelling boards. The lines have machinery from WACO and WEINIG, STENNER, MASKINSON and FISCHER. The lines contain grading, bundling, strapping and shrinkwrapping equipment allowing a flexible mix of packaging to be offered. The faster fullly automated line, which also has the possibility for endmatching, was erected in 2003 by ALMAB.
The planing mill uses mainly sawn timber produced 2 exlog from small diameter logs. Therefore the visual structure of timber has small sound knots. Panelling is always produced from the timber coming from the central part of the log.
The two sawmills in the group are equipped with HEWSAW technology for cutting small diameter logs. In one of the mills logs with top diameter from 10cm to 20cm are cut and in the other from 10cm to 26 cm. Both sawmills and the planing mill have modern drying fascilities
The combination of the sawmills and the planing mill within the same structure makes it possible to offer non standard dimensions and solutions to industrial users of planed goods.
