Rait Ltd has launched production on the new generation planing equipment leading to increased productivity and improved quality

The investment project totalling of approximately Eur 2 million involved the replacement of the main planing unit with equipment having CNC-controlled tool adjustment from Weinig. There are only limited number of similar equipment in operation around the World. Improvements and additions were also made in other important parts of the planing line.

The objective of the investment is to increase the flexibility of customer service, reduce downtime and to bring the machining quality of the products to a new level.
